Currently, I serve as a Scientist-Cybersecurity at the Center for Cyber Security and Cyber Security of Cyber Physical Systems-IIT Kanpur, where I am involved in the research and development of the Cyber Security Capability Maturity (CSCM) Model for critical infrastructures. My work focuses on building and validating models for cybersecurity best practices, especially for IT/OT systems across critical sectors. I collaborate closely with Indian regulatory bodies such as NCIIPC, NSCS, CERT-In, SEBI, and RBI, aligning sector-specific models with the national threat landscape. Prior to this, I held key roles at TCS, British Telecom, Sony India, and Samsung Electronics, contributing to cybersecurity strategy, compliance, and vulnerability management.
